Happy Birthday Walt Disney!

Source
Today marks a VERY important day in Disney history: Disney was born!!

Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Hermosa, Illinois. Little did his parents know just how amazing, influential and important their son was going to become!

I just want to take this time to thank Walt for everything he had accomplish, and what his legacy is still accomplishing today. His passion to follow his dreams, take risks, endure struggle, and work hard makes him the perfect role model for any aspiring dreamer. He really proved that with hard work, dedication and positive thinking you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.

Walt helped keep the spirit of childhood alive, as well as bring an added magical quality to everything he does. His cartoons and movies were groundbreaking, and his imagination soared more than anyone else's that we've ever known. He was the first to create a full length animated feature in technicolor, as well as create the biggest and most visited theme park in the world. He currently holds the record for the most Academy Awards, and created the most iconic cartoon character of all time, Mickey Mouse!

There are so many amazing achievements this man accomplished in his life, and honestly I don't know where I would be without him. In these past couple years, Disney has really helped me discover myself and what I want to do with my life. It's become one of my biggest passions, and Walt has become my number one role model and inspiration for every risk I take and every adventure I decide to do. I'm so excited to become a part of this magic next month in the Disney College Program, and I hope I can make Walt and my family proud.

To see some of the amazing magic Walt's legacy has created, I highly recommend watching the video below :)

Here's to you, Mr. Disney! :)
