9 New Marvel Movies Announced

Unless you've been living under a rock and away from the Internet in the last 24 hours, many of you have probably heard the exciting news about Marvel revealing what they call "Phase 3" in their plans for future films. Marvel released the titles of their upcoming movies throughout 2019. Needless to say, I'm through the roof excited!

Soon after these titles were revealed, they brought out special guests Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) and Chris Evans (Captain America) to announce that the third Captain America film is actually going to be titled "Captain America: The Civil War".

If you can't see the names and dates very clearly in the picture, here's a full list of the upcoming films:

  • Captain America: Civil War - May 6, 2016
  • Doctor Strange - November 4, 2016
  • Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 - May 5, 2017
  • Thor: Ragnarok - July 20, 2017
  • Black Panther - November 3, 2017
  • Avengers: Infinity War (Part 1) - May 4, 2018
  • Captain Marvel - July 6, 2018
  • Inhumans - November 2, 2018
  • Avengers: Infinity War (Part 2) - May 3, 2019
Earlier during the week, news spread that Benedict Cumberbatch was going to be cast as Doctor Strange. There is also word that this isn't 100% confirmed, but I really hope it pulls through! Marvel also included that Chadwick Boseman is going to play Black Panther, and Captain Marvel is in fact going to be a woman. Our first female lead Marvel film is finally coming 2018! (But still no Black Widow movie...hmm...)

Also, if you're interested in watching the complete announcement of "Phase 3", here's a video of the exciting event!

Which upcoming Marvel film are you the most excited for?

  1. What Disney critics hate happens to be what consumers love! My disney experience entertain and make us smile (even if they made us cry 15 minutes earlier). Their formula of Happily Ever After always works.
