Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Returns! (Part One)

Alfred Angelo has recently released its latest collection of wedding dresses for their Disney Fairy Tale Wedding series! Since I shared with you all the other dresses, it's about time to share with you the latest collection for the series!

Cinderella

Style: 226

DescriptionSatin, Net, Re-Embroidered Lace, Crystal Beading, Pearls, Sequins, Rhinestones
Optional Spaghetti Straps & Modesty Piece
Chapel Train

Colors: Ivory & White

Sizes: 0 to 26W

Price: $1,399

My Opinion: I think this dress captures Cinderella's beauty and elegance perfectly in a really simple way.

Ariel

Style: 223

Description: "This modern, charmeuse, mermaid gown is as soft and fluid as the sea. Its draped and fitted bodice features an extravagant belt, gleaming with a treasure trove of crystals, pearls and other gemstones."

Colors: Ivory/Black, White/Black, White, Ivory, White/Beyond the sea, Ivory/Beyond the Sea

Sizes: 0 to 26W

Price: $1,149

My Opinion: This is a kind of classy and different take on an Ariel wedding dress compared to the past versions. Not sure if I really like the belt/sash all that much, but maybe I would if I saw it in a different color?

Sleeping Beauty

Style: 227

Description: Net, Re-Embroidered Lace with Metallic Accents, Crystal Beading, Sequins, Pearls, Satin Flowers. Optional Spaghetti Straps & Modesty Piece. Semi-Cathedral Train

Colors: Ivory/Silver and White/Silver

Sizes: 0 to 26W

Price: $1,399

My Opinion: I'm not quite sure the connection between this dress design and Aurora's gown, but I think it's pretty. Not really my personal favorite, but it's still beautiful.

Snow White

Style: 220

Description: "Timeless, tulle ball gown accented at the waist with a fairy tale corsage of delicately beaded apple blossoms. This gown is as enchanting as a magical forest!"

Colors: Ivory/Tea Rose, White/Tea Rose. Also available in Ivory or White with matching sash.

Sizes: 0 to 26W

Price: Under $999

My Opinion: This dress is definitely my favorite out of this set! I think it's simple yet completely beautiful. I love the sheer train in the back and the cute waistband! I'd even consider this one for my own wedding!

Disney Prom Dresses: Part 3

Part Three

Hello everyone! Welcome to part three of Alfred Angelo's Disney Prom Dresses series!

If you missed the two parts: Part One, Part Two

Coincidentally this week, all of the prom dresses are blue!

Style: 5008

Description: A gorgeous floor length made with net, taffeta, rhinestones, crystal beading, sequins and pearls. Offers optional halter straps.

Colors: Island Blue (pictured), Lily Pad, and Pink Passion

Sizes: 2-16

Price Range: Under $400

My Opinion: I think this dress is gorgeous. Reminds me of Cinderella :)

Style: 5009

Description: Another beautiful floor length made with organza, satin, rhinestones, crystal beading, and sequins with metallic accents. Can have optional halter straps.

Colors: Sea Glass (pictured), Purple Pizzazz, and Mystic Pink

Sizes: 2-16, 14W-22W (Plus sizes available)

Price Range: Under $500

My Opinion: I love the tiered and flowing nature of the bottom half of the dress. Kind of looks like she's wearing a cloud! I'd love to see the other colors of this one, I feel like pink would be lovely!

Style: 5010

Description: Made with ombre net, this floor length dress contains embroidery withe metallic accents, crystal beading, and sequins.

Colors: Blue Swirl (pictured)

Sizes: 2-16

Price Range: Under $500

My Opinion: I adore this dress! I love the blue swirl color! It's kind of unfortunate that it only comes in the color blue, but I really like it anyway! I think it'd be neat if it came in a two-in-one kind of color, like red and white for example. However, I think this is gorgeous! (Also...does this model only know one pose? It's almost exactly the same as the last dress!)

Style: 5011

Description: Created with net, satin, embroidered flowers with metallic accents, rhinestones, crystal beading sequins, and offers optional modesty piece and halter straps.

Colors: White, Sea Glass (pictured), Yellow Fairy, and Red Apple.

Sizes: 2-16

Price Range: Under $600

My Opinion: Another pretty dress that looks like a cloud! I feel like the Yellow Fairy color would be really pretty. I'd also like to see the Red Apple, it'd be different.

There you have it folks! Part three of the Disney Prom Dress series! I'd have to say my favorite is style 5010. I just love the swirled colors!

Which one is your favorite?

Disney Prom Dresses: Part 2

Part Two

Welcome to part two of the Disney prom dress series from the amazing designers of Alfred Angelo!

Style: 5004

Description: A satin, one shoulder, floor-length dress with crystal beading, net, rhinestones and an optional modesty piece.

Colors: White, Majestic Orchid (pictured) and Blue Magic

Sizes: 2-16

Price Range: Under $600

My Opinion: I would definitely buy this dress! I love the bodice and the one shoulder. I especially love the purple color. I think the blue version would also look gorgeous. This one kind of reminds me of Megara's dress from Hercules. It kind of has that greek feel to it, but maybe that's just me.

Style: 5005

Description: A strapless and floor length made with net, rhinestones, pearls, sequins, and crystal beading. Also has optional halter straps.

Colors: White, Yellow Fairy (pictured), Majestic Blue, and Enchanted Iris

Sizes: 2-16

Price Range: Under $500

My Opinion: The designers just love the color yellow! I actually quite like this pastel color though, reminds me of a pastry like a cupcake or something else delicious. On the other hand I really like this design. Seems simple, yet gorgeous at the same time.

Style: 5006

Description: Another strapless floor length beauty, made with net, rhinestones, crystal beading, pearls, and metallic accents.

Colors: Sizzle Pink (pictured), Grape Jam, Ocean

Sizes: 2-16 also 14W-22W (plus sizes)

Price Range: Under $500

My Opinion: I love the pink! I also love the edgy feel this one has with the metallic accents. For some reason Jasmine comes to mind when I see this dress...
On a side note, I would definitely want the Grape Jam color, being the purple fanatic that I am ;)

Style: 5007

Description: Halter top made with net, sequins, rhinestone and crystal beading

Colors: Yellow Fairy, Crushed Violet, Punch

Sizes: 2-16

Price Range: Under $500

My Opinion: I'm not really a fan of this one, and I can't pinpoint why. Maybe I don't think it's as flattering as the other dresses, but that just depends on the girl who wears it I guess. I'm curious to know which princess/character the designer modeled it off of since nothing really comes to mind for me.

This concludes part two of the Disney prom dress series! What do you think? Which one is your favorite? Mine would have to be either the first or the third one.

Disney Prom Dresses: Part 1

Introduction

Earlier in the year I had a series about the Disney wedding dresses by Alfred Angelo. As I finished the collection with the veils and jewelry, I announced that Alfred Angelo not only does Disney weddings, but has a series full of Disney prom dresses! Today I will be starting our journey through this collection, by showing you three to four dresses a week from the beautiful collection. Enjoy!

(I will include the price range this time, since people have mentioned they would like more information about the pieces that I post.)

Part One

Style: 5000

Description: A gorgeous floor length with shimmer organza, rhinestones, crystal beading, sequins and metallic embroidery.

Colors: White, Mango, Aqua Pearl, and Pink Lemonade

Sizes: 2-16

Price Range: Under $600

My Opinion: Personally, yellow isn't my favorite color, but I love how much this looks like Belle's dress, so you can see the Disney inspiration. I would love to see the pink lemonade color, as well as maybe a purple (even though they don't have that option).

Style: 5001

Description: Floor length with metallic embroidery, taffeta, rhinestones, crystal beading and sequins. Has optional modesty piece and halter straps.

Colors: White, Wild Berry, Honey Do, Orange Pop

Sizes: 2-16

Price Range: Under $700

My Opinion: I think this one is stunning. I'm curious to what Honey Do color would look like, but I'll assume a light green like the honeydew melon. I love the detailed bodice, and I do like this (I'm assuming) wild berry color.

Style: 5002

Description: Floor length made with net, rhinestones, crystal beading, sequins and metallic accents. Also has optional modesty piece and halter straps.

Colors: Solar Yellow, Purple Rain, Electric Blue

Sizes: 2-16

Price Range: Under $500

My Opinion: Again I also see Belle's dress in this design, not just because it's yellow. The electric blue would probably be a stunning color, as well as the purple. Not sure if I really like that the net swoops and meets in the center area.

Style: 5003

Description: Floor length made with net, crystal beading, pearls, sequins and rhinestones. Also comes with optional modesty piece and halter straps.

Colors: Blue Angel, Green Glo, Pink Sorbet

Sizes: 2-16, 14W-22W (comes in plus sizes)

Price Range: Under $500

My Opinion: This is an adorable dress! Reminds me of Cinderella (of course). The design also reminds me of Cinderella's wedding dress from the designer's collection. I bet the other color options look just as cute and beautiful as the blue.

This concludes our first set of Disney prom dresses! What did you think? This makes me wish I was back in high school shopping for dresses...but then again it's probably better because there's no way I could afford something like this without feeling super guilty. They're fun to look at though!

Disney Wedding Jewelry: Part Four

It's our final set of Alfred Angelo's Disney wedding jewelry! We will close with the final two Disney princesses: Tiana from Princess and the Frog and Rapunzel!

I don't know why there's only two rows instead of three for Tiana...but either way I love these! I really like the necklace in the bottom row with the bracelet and earrings. The top earrings are really cute too.

Again...I'm not sure why it has less jewelry than the rest of the princesses, but it might be because they are the newest princesses. I like the simplicity of this set :)

This concludes the Fairy Tale Wedding jewelry series! Which also concludes all of the sets that are included in the Alfred Angelo Disney Fairy Tale Wedding collection. I hope you enjoyed them!

The next series I will be showing is the Disney prom dresses by Alfred Angelo. Unfortunately they don't categorize the dresses into princesses like the wedding collection, but I will find a way to break them up so I don't put all of the dresses up at once (that'd be a little overwhelming).

I hope you all have had a great weekend! I'm currently watching Ratatouille on ABC Family. I feel like this movie flies under the radar too much.

Disney Wedding Jewelry: Part Three

Part three of Alfred Angelo's Disney fairy tale wedding jewelry collection includes Sleeping Beauty and Snow White, two classic Disney princesses.

(On a side note: This is the Disney Den's 50th post! Crazy!)

I think all of these pieces of jewelry are stunning. My favorite necklace is the bottom left, favorite bracelet is probably the middle, and I love the bottom right earrings! This is one of the best collections, if you ask me.

I think this is the most unique collection. The flower earrings are so cute! I love the bracelet as well. The pearls are beautiful and the bottom collection is also stunning.

One more pair of jewelry sets left for the Alfred Angelo collection! Which one is your favorite?

Disney Wedding Jewelry: Part Two

Welcome to the second set to the Alfred Angelo Disney Fairy Tale Wedding jewelry collection! Today I will be sharing with you Cinderella and Princess Jasmine! If you missed part one of the series, make sure you take a look!

This might be my favorite set! I really want the earrings on the top and bottom right, and the necklace in the top left corner!

Oh my goodness the necklace in the middle row on the left is breathtaking. The earrings in the top and bottom right are also! (Can you tell that I'm an earring girl?)

I hope you all are having a fantastic week! It's certainly been a busy one for me. I can't believe it's only Wednesday! Summer classes start next week :( Thankfully it's only two classes for a little bit of the day. Don't worry, I'll still be posting regularly!

Disney Wedding Jewelry: Part One

The final parts of Alfred Angelo's Disney Fairy Tale Wedding series include the gorgeous jewelry created for each princess! Since each princess has about nine pieces of jewelry, I will be posting two princesses at a time. Today we shall be looking at Ariel and Belle's stunning necklaces and earrings!

My favorite has to be the earrings in the center!

I love the earrings in the middle row on the very right! I also really like the collection in the bottom row!

Short and sweet post :)

Last Friday I went and saw Snow White and the Huntsman. Originally I didn't want to see it but my friend offered to pay for half of my ticket so I caved. Since I also saw Mirror Mirror (another Snow White movie that came out this year) I want to share my opinion with you about both movies and which one I preferred. I know they weren't Disney movies, but Snow White is obviously a famous Disney princess! I will be posting my opinion on those very soon!

Well, today I am here to show you the gorgeous veils that the designers created to complete the dress ensembles! Each princess has one veil unique to each personality. Enjoy!

Which one is your favorite?

Disney Fairy Tale Wedding: Rapunzel

Week Eight Wedding Dress: Rapunzel

It's the final Disney fairy tale wedding dress from Alfred Angelo! The conclusion to this series of gorgeous and breathtaking dresses ends with the amazing and free-spirited Rapunzel.

Since Rapunzel is a relatively new princess, her first dress comes from the second collection of the Disney bridal gowns, while the second dress comes from a special edition group that includes Cinderella.

Collection Two

Alfred Angelo's "Rapunzel"

Designer Description: "Romantic, artful and confident defines this Rapunzel inspired gown. Subtle draped taffeta reminiscent of the twists and turns of her long braided hair play up the dreamy form fitting silhouette. A delicate floral sash with pearls, sequins, and crystals pays homage nature and the world she expresses through her artistry."

Style 214
My Opinion: I think this dress has a very simple elegance and beauty. It's one of my personal favorites because it isn't as flashy and out there like some of the previous dresses. I love the sparkly waist band and the fitted body before it drapes loosely to the ground. I love it! I'd wear it for my own wedding!

Special Edition

Designer Description: "Showcased at Kensington Palace in London for Rapunzel's Royal Celebration, this Special Edition gown reflects Rapunzel's unique, artistic, upbeat and confident personality. The gown features a one shoulder dropped waist and pleated bodice. Delicate three-dimensional satin petals and light catching sequins and crystals dance and float like the lanterns that carried her dreams."

Style 208

My Opinion: This isn't one of my favorites. I think it would look better in person. I like how it's unique and different and that the designer was inspired by the lanterns in the movie. I almost feel like it'd be better without the one shoulder strap...mainly because I think they look kind of like feathers. Still pretty, just not my first pick.

Disney Maiden/Bridesmaid

Style 502

Flower Girl/"Blossom"

Style 708

This concludes the Alfred Angelo Disney fairy tale wedding dress series! However, I have a little surprise...I recently discovered there are also amazing veils and jewelry that go with each princess and their dresses! I will share them with you soon!

Also, Alfred Angelo has a section of Disney prom dresses that are absolutely breathtaking. They don't have designated princesses that match with each dress, so I will be sorting them into different colors for each post (since putting them all in one post would be overwhelming).

I hope you enjoyed the dresses! Which set was your favorite? I don't know if I could decide...I'm thinking maybe Cinderella, Aurora, or Rapunzel.
